‘Joe Sent M.D.E.’ at MCCC

This May sees the world premier of Joe Sent M.D.E., a collaboration between recording artist Vanessa Daou and the Mercer Dance Ensemble at Mercer County Community College. Elixir co-founder Alex DeFazio initiated the collaboration, and both he and fellow co-founder Jody P. Person are working hard from their respective teaching posts to bring Daou’s music to life.

As the May 16 premier approaches, look for plenty of content to appear on this as well as Vanessa Daou’s official website. Already Daou has created a dedicated “e-archive” for the concert (see the screenshot gallery below or visit the site). For more Joe Sent M.D.E., you can also:

‘Angels in America’ at MCCC

Jody P. Person once again brings the Elixir touch to Mercer County Community College, where he is currently directing the Academic Theatre Program’s production of Tony Kushner’s Angels in America, Part I: Millennium Approaches.

Angels in America performs at Kelsey Theatre (1200 Old Trenton Road / West Windsor, NJ) on Friday, April 17 at 8:00pm; Saturday, April 18 at 8:00pm; Friday, April 24 at 8:00pm; Saturday, April 25 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, April 26 at 2:00pm.
