Hot off the press from last night’s performance, here are seven scenes from Mercer County Community College’s production of Woyzeck in a new translation by Elixir’s Resident Dramaturg Inga Meier, directed by Elixir co-founder (and Mercer Theatre Program Coordinator) Jody P. Person.

There’s quite a bit of interference in some of these clips (probably due to a bum videotape), but you’ll get the idea.

Nick Chase on Homeless Queer Youth

Another beautifully written article by Nick Chase from The Brooklyn Rail. This time he profiles the Ali Forney Center, an organization dedicated to housing and stabilizing homeless queer youth in NYC (a population which currently accounts for a staggering 42% of the state’s homeless youth).
